San Diego by Night — Part 2
I posted some pics from Santa Diego by Night — Part 1 the other day. Here are some more from some experimental night photos.
We found a bridge nearby with a spot to set up the tripod and photograph the cars coming and going. It was fun to experiment with the camera’s settings to see the effects it gave.
Early one morning, the fire alarm went off in the hotel. It was around 5:00am. The strange thing was the alarm was going off on one of the upper floors, but not ours or any others. I woke up and debated whether to get everyone up and head outside. I peeked out the window and saw some other people starting to leave the building, so I woke everyone up and we headed out. Turns out it was a false alarm. Long story short, I couldn’t get back to sleep so I grabbed my camera and tripod and went to take some more pics!
These were taken around 5:15am or so. After taking photos the night before well after sunset, it was interesting to see how the time of morning or night is captured.
